In my reflection...

I saw my reflection today. It wasn't in the mirror of my bathroom, my bedroom, or even through the glass door leading to my back yard. It was somewhere I should have been looking all along... reflection-the act of reflecting or the state of being reflected I saw my reflection...in the eyes of my Father. In my reflection I saw how God sees me. I am a tiny mass created by millions of cells...He created cells. He is I AM. In my reflection looking in a typical mirror...I see my flaws, my weaknesses, my sins and my humanness. In my relection in my Father's eyes...I see what He sees in me. I see the beauty He created in me, my strengths, my salvation, and my purpose. I see what He knows I am...His. I see what He knows I can be. Yet again...I am reading a new book. It's Not About Me by Max Lucado. An awesome read if you have the chance. I'm finding out how small I am. I'm learning how big He is. I am but a small dander of a feather, in a world filled with God's creation. He is the Holy of Holies, and through His grace and mercy, I am able to humbly get the "hhh" out of my mouth to call Him "Holy, Holy, Holy". I am but a servant in the hands of the master. In my reflection I saw how God sees me. I am His daughter, excitedly holding the hand of her Father as He securely holds mine in His. I am created by The Hands who molded the peaks of the mountain tops. I am the sister, of the Man who died for the world's salvation. His DNA runs through my body. His blood flows through my veins. I am His workmanship. I am His. I do not belong to me... In my reflection I saw how God sees me. His love abounds over me. His presence in me is the fuel that ignites my heart to beat. The fire in my eyes is but a glimmer in His. In the whisper of his breath I find life. He is Life. I hold His word in my heart. He is The Word. I fall to my knees at the cross. His love poured from The Cross. I saw my relection today...it was in the eyes of my Father. Dear God...I desire to reflect Your goodness, Your likeness, and Your love. I lay my own will at Your feet and pick up Your will for me. Forgive my selfishness. In all I do...I worship you! Exodus 15:11 Who among the gods is like you? O Lord? Who is like you-majestic in holiness, awesome in glory, working wonders? II Corinthians 3:18 And we, who with unveiled faces all reflect the Lord's glory, are being transformed into his likeness with ever-increasing glory, which comes from the Lord, who is the Spirit.
