He knows.

The Gospel of Christ, it’s a messy, bloody thing and this is how God was born, bloody and bruised, and that’s how God chose to die, bloody and beaten. And our God, He knows the comings and goings of our bloody battles, and this is exactly where He meets us.
~~Ann Voskamp.

Feeling quite overwhelmed today with emotion and thankfulness.

Words seem to escape me,
as Grace flows in and the walls of brokenness come crashing down.

I praise Him softly and with a humble heart,
in the midst of  the sound of cracking steel,
as chains are broken, and fall into dust around me.

Thank you Jesus...

for never leaving me in the bloody battles of this life.

Thank you Jesus...

for knowing my comings and goings.

 Thank you Jesus...

for facing the ultimate battle, so that I may be lifted up out of mine.

Isaiah 26:19
But those who die in the LORD will live; their bodies will rise again! Those who sleep in the earth will rise up and sing for joy! For your life-giving light will fall like dew on your people in the place of the dead!
