Keep dreaming!

My favorite story in the bible is about Joseph and the dreams. Joseph was given a gift of interpreting dreams. God had given Joseph a dream that he would one day be a great ruler. His own brothers laughed at him and even sold him as a slave, then told their father that he had been killed. Talk about a disfunctional family. Anyway, Joseph never lost sight of the dream that God had given him. He believed and continued to share his dream even as he was locked in a dungeon. Now that is having faith! Years later, Joseph's dream came true. He became ruler and he forgave his brothers. He never let his surroundings or circumstances take his eye off of God's promise to him. The bible is filled with promises and dreams for us as Christ followers. We worry too much about where we are in a circumstance and what is around us, that we forget where we CAN be with God. Or perhaps, God has revealed a specific plan for us but WE don't see it happening, so we just don't believe it. I know for myself at times, that I just don't feel deserving of what God has for me. But, God wants to bless his people! Have faith in knowing that God's dream for you will happen! Keep dreaming! Hebrews 11:1 "Now faith is being sure of what we hope for and certain of what we do not see."
