It's pulchritudinous!

PULCHRITUDINOUS!! No...I didn't just sneeze, but I will take the "God bless you" any day. That's a word my kids told me about several months back. I don't know where they come up with half the stuff they come up with. LOL It's pronounced...puhl-kri-tood-n-uhs. It's a biggie. (By the way...I love big words!) I fell in love with this word as soon as my kids said it, and have been waiting for the exact moment to use it. Today is the day! pulchritudinous-beautiful I have been stressed out over my blog design mishap-big goof up! I have been struggling...yes struggling...with the loss of the other design. But...I have found, that yesterday's blooper can become today's new start. Maybe I needed a new look, something that represented me more than the other look. I really like my new design. It's pulchritudinous! It's the best I can do at this point with what I know, and with what is free! There are alot of blog design websites out there, but they cost. Ugghhh! I'm all in it for the freebies! I was thinking about asking for the "costly" ones for Christmas. I believe it would be a great Christmas present...what do you think? (smiley face) My life has been filled with many bloopers that have been turned into new starts. What I thought was an ending or the death of a situation...He created a new start and brought life back into it. Wonderful new starts! God truly knows how to bring "beauty from ashes". I have been at the bottom of the "ashtray" of life, and He has lifted me out of it, dusted me off, and turned me or my situation into something beautiful...something pulchritudinous! It amazes me how little I know about my life at times, and where it is going, compared to what He knows about it and where He is taking me. He has it ALL figured out, and here I am... just trying to figure Him out. Thank you God for turning my life into something displayed for Your beauty! You give beauty for ashes, strength for fear, gladness for mourning and peace for despair!

Isaiah 61:1-3 The Spirit of the Sovereign Lord is on me, because the Lord has anointed me to preach good news to the poor. He has sent mt eto bind up the brokenhearted, to proclaim freedom for the captives and release from darkness for the prisoners, to proclaim the year of the Lord's favor and the day of vengeance of our God, to comfort all who mourn, and provide those who grieve in Zion--to bestow on them a crown of beauty instead of ashes, the oil of gladness instead of mourning, and a garment of praise instead of despair. They will be called oaks of righteousness, a planting of the Lord for the display of his splendor.
