A new door.

God dropped a wing-dinger on me a few months ago.
Then, to my much surprise, He passed it by my husband, and had him jump on the band wagon.
I got the confirmation I needed in a way that I had prayed for, but had doubted with every breath.
Literally every breath.
Let me explain...
He told me to homeschool our children this coming school year.
This coming school year!
My response?
"Say what?!!"
"Ugghh? You sure you got the right girl?"
Ehemm.
Cough, cough.
Choke, choke.
I began to pray and seek Him diligently about it.
I prayed, "Give me strength and wisdom for this Lord."
I doubted, "Why now? Are you sure? How?"
I sought Him, "Oh please, give me direction Lord Jesus."
When all that was said and done...
I prayed some more.
I wanted to make sure I was hearing what I thought I was hearing.
Then I tested Him...like I always seem to do.
Wheeling and dealing with God...not always the best thing.
He wins everytime.
Every. Time.
I told Him, "Okay, I'll do it, but you have to have Frankie in perfect agreement with me before I will do it."
Then I smirked, and thought, " Huh, that's never gonna happen."
Ehemm.
A week or two later, when I had forgotten about the little "deal" I had made with God...He was kind enough to remind me.
During some nice, quiet coffee talk with my husband one morning, the subject came up.
Yes...THE subject.
The one I just knew would NEVER come up.
Uh huh...that one.
Out of left field!!
Yep!
Surprise!
Who da' thunk it?
It was crazy.
My husband brought it up and we began talking, realizing that God had been speaking to us both about it and we just hadn't had the time to connect and talk about it.
Thank You God for Your unfailing faithfulness, even in the midst of my whiny, wheel-dealing doubt.
I'm happy to say...
We will be opening the door to our classroom in our new home this fall!!
I'm excited, nervous, happy, scared, hopeful and a little nauseous.
But, I got this.
Cuz...He's got me!
Thank You Father for trusting in me with such a gift as this!!
I am forever Your humble servant.
Deuteronomy 7:9
Know therfore that the Lord your God is God; He is the faithful God, keeping His covenant of love to a thousand generations of those who love Him and keep His commandments.
