He already knows.

I've been doing a weekly bible study on the book of James for a few weeks now, with a wonderful group of women.

It has blessed me immensely and has stretched my heart in ways that I knew I needed, and in other ways that God knew I needed.

It has made me sit down each day, walk away from the craziness of the day,  and have my time with Him, when on a normal day, I might find something else to do that I think is more important.

(Boy, am I stubborn!)

I look forward each day to diving into His word and finding freedom within it.

It's given me a new found spiritual energy that I apparently lacked.

As I began my quiet time of doing my homework for the study today,
 I came across this passage.

It was a sweet reminder of how God knows us.
Really knows us.
Our fears, our desires, our everything.
Even our unasked questions and wants.

I wanted to share it with you.

In my heart, I feel that someone out there reading this blog,
might just need to be reminded today.

I hope you are blessed!

"...a wide gulf exists between feeling uncomfortable asking from God and feeling uncomfortable talking to God.  We might not feel we can ask Him for something, but we can tell Him anything.
Look at it this way:  He already knows.
We might as well talk to Him about it.

Psalm 38:9
All my longings lie open before you, O Lord; my sighing is not hidden from you.

You are nothing so inanimate as an open book before God.  You are an open heart, warm and beating.
All your longings, lackings, disappointments, and delays are ever before Him.
He sees.
He knows.
He is never deaf to your sighs."

He even knows our sighs!

WOW.

How comforting is that?!

That the Father and Creator of all knows each time our hearts sigh.

Each time we feel frustrated or tired or weary or doubtful or confused.

He sent His son to be born of a virgin, die on the cross for our trangressions, so that He can be made into the flesh, saving us, so that He can have an intimate relationship with us.

With you!

He then resurrected so that He could live among us, so that He can bare our sighs, our burdens, feeling all that we feel!

He can fully understand our frustrations and pains in the daily task of simply living.

He misses nothing!

There is nothing that goes unseen by His loving eyes or unheard by His faithful ears or unfelt by His  grace filled heart.

His heart feels all that we feel!

Our sighs are a melody that He longs to embrace!

Don't be afraid to share the reason behind your sighs with Him.

He already knows, He just wants you to take the time to share with Him.

What's on your heart today?

Go ahead, tell HIM.

Psalm 55:22
Cast your cares upon the Lord, and He will sustain you,

Psalm 56:8
You have kept a record of my wanderings.  Put my tears in your bottle.  They are already in your book.
