I've been doing two different bible studies for the past few months.

They have been a wonderful addition to my life.

I had never done a bible study on a book before, much less two at the same time.

Yes...I've been known to live life on the edge.

Anywhooooo...

They are both nearing their end, and I honestly can't say enough about the two of them.

The first one, So Long Insecurity, by the amazing Mrs. Beth Moore, has brought me to a place of healing that I honestly didn't even know that I needed. It's taken the mask off of me and my insecure self. I am beginning to see much more clearly now, who God intended for me to be, and how free He truly wants me to live. It's been an awesome read. There's lots and lots of good stuff in there, that will hit you in your gut and spirit...the two places I need it the most.

The second one, Crazy Love, by Francis Chan, was a nice surprise. I had heard about this book, but did not realize how powerful it could be. I have sat in my bed many nights with my face in my hands crying or simply just sitting perplexed on how BIG my God's love is. Amazing!!

Simply amazing.

It will leave you wanting to fall on your face in worship just because HE is.

Just because...

HE IS!

Either one, if you decide to pick them up and read...which I HIGHLY RECOMMEND...will not disappoint.

Like I said, I've enjoyed them both very much and know that it was meant to be for me to read them both at this specific season in my life. I thank God for allowing me to be a part of these bible studies, and look forward to the next one down the road.

But, I must say, there was something a little difficult about doing the bible studies. I am an avid reader, and always have been. I remember when I was little I used to go into the bathroom and read all the backs of the shampoo bottles and toothpaste tubes. Wierd huh? I even read the backs of the cereal boxes, like they were a novel by Shakespeare. It's in my blood to read. These bible studies were a little difficult, because I had to read one chapter at a time. For me, this was challenging. I normally sit back with a book and a cup of Joe, and read for hours. Hours! I can wipe out a book in two days when it's a super good read. Holding myself back was like holding a salivating hungry lion away from a delicious rib-eye. Not only cruel, but very dangerous!

So, even though I have enjoyed the two books and feel a little saddened that our bible studies are coming to a close, I am super excited to grab a hold of a new book and read til' my eyeballs fall out!

I've already got two on my list to read.

I've heard great things about both books and have heard that they go together like peanut butter and jelly...also two things that I love. How could I go wrong?

I'm so excited!!

I can hardly stand it!

I may, or may not be, salivating right now.

I'm going to order them both as soon as I finish the bible studies.
