Oh, how He loves!

Psalm 103:11-12 NLT
For His unfailing love toward those who fear Him is as great as the height of the heavens above the earth. He has removed our sins as far from us as the east is from the west.

I love how God loves me.

How He adores me.

How He comes for me and pursues me.

How pure and endless and certain He is in His approach.

How His admiration for me was displayed on the cross.

And how that crimson Love continues to pour down over me, saving me time and time again.

I never want to take His love for granted.

But, what's even greater than His love for me...

is His love for my children.

How He holds them tightly against His chest.

How He carries them, walks with them, inhabits them,
breathing His life into theirs.

How He swoops them up in His safety,
even when I can't see the danger that awaits them.

How He is there always...
when I am not.

I have to remind myself at times,
that they were His children before they were mine.

That His love enveloped them,
when mine didn't even exist.

That He is their God, their Savior, their Redeemer, their Healer, their Everything,
not just mine.

Deuteronomy 30:6
The Lord your God will circumcise your heart and the hearts of your descendants, and you will love Him with all your heart and all your soul so that you will live.

Thank you God for loving my children as much as you love me!
Thank you for being my eyes, when I can't see!

Everything good, everything true
When all the world is fading You're everything new
You are my eyes, when I can't see
When all the world is broken You will always be everything good.
~~lyrics by Ashes Remain, Everything Good

Job 10:12
You gave me life and showed me your unfailing love. My life was preserved by your care.
